What is Mind Body OT?
This holistic approach to occupational therapy is provided by Actions Speak’s very own, Coach Lauren. During sessions, Coach Lauren uses her background in yoga, sensory integration and personal training to create individualized programs for her clients that are designed to address their specific needs and goals. The overall goal during Mind Body OT sessions is to help clients of all ages improve their quality of life and increase their independence.
What types of activities do clients engage in during sessions?
Mind Body OT integrates different mind and body practices to improve overall health and well being. Some activities included during sessions are:

Mind Body OT can be helpful for many conditions since it helps clients learn about and connect with their bodies, develop coping skills, build overall strength/endurance, learn strategies related to self regulation and other essential daily living skills.
